The Center neighborhood of Southeast Portland borders I-84 and Northeast Portland. Also known as the North Tabor area, it is located just North of Mt. Tabor, which is one of Portland’s dormant volcanoes. The Providence Medical Center is one of the main features of the neighborhood—providing employment to many of the local residents.
