Real Estate – Homes for Sale in Cully
View Homes for Sale on the Interactive Cully Real Estate Map
The Cully neighborhood in Northeast Portland consists of mostly residential homes. It was originally named after Thomas Cully, who was an English stonemason and early settler. This diverse neighborhood contains lots of modest and affordable homes—featuring mainly ranches and smaller Craftsman houses. Community involvement is strong in the area and continues to grow with the creation of the Rigler Community Garden. This garden is used for both community gardening and education. Although the garden is only 0.3 acres, it’s used very efficiently by the neighborhood and contains many community garden plots. A gazebo doubles as a classroom and also captures rainwater, which is then funneled into a tank. In addition to the community garden, Cully is also home to Sacajawea Park and the Whitaker Ponds Natural Area.
You can find a variety of businesses along it’s western boundary of NE 42nd Ave. Small shops, bars, and restaurants take up residence in here, including the delicious Delphina’s Bakery Cafe – just a block north of NE Prescott. The Cully neighborhood also borders Concordia, Sunderland, and Beaumont-Wilshire.
